Free school visits. Gratis. No charge. As a children’s author I am willing to offer a number of free school children’s author visits.

Children’s Author Free School Visits

I am offering a number of free school author visits on a first-come first-served basis.

I cannot work completely for free – my young family would suffer as a result, but I am willing to help.

Authors Aloud

Children’s stories passionately spoken aloud by the children’s author that wrote them carry amazing enthusiasm and engagement. My first children’s author is a memory I cherish and remember like it was yesterday.

World Book Day Author Free School Visits

I do not envy the duties of the school budget holders and managers in our current climate. My school children’s author visits will be free, one of which must be around world book day.

Data and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate (DBS Certificate)

I have an up-to-date enhanced criminal record certificate or criminal records check both as a school volunteer and from an NHS trust. I also subscribe to the DBS update service. Details are available upon request

Free School Visit Refreshments

I like:

• Tea, milky, no sugar – you decide if I’m sweet enough!
• Water and sugar free drinks
• I will eat most things and prefer brown bread, rice and pasta, it’s good for you, but not essential if the you and the kids are eating something else
